Vision Law OTP (“the extension”) is provided by Future Vision for use by authorized
law-firm staff. This policy explains what the extension handles.
What we process
Firm sign-in details — the email/company code and password you
enter are sent to the firm’s backend (activation2.thefuturevision.com)
to authenticate you. The extension stores only the resulting session token locally
on your device.
One-time passcodes (OTPs) — court-login codes the firm already
receives on its registered phone are delivered to your browser and filled into the
court site. OTPs are short-lived, single-use, and not retained after use.
Court site context — the domain of the active tab, used only to
preselect the right court and fill the correct OTP field.
What we do NOT do
We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
We do not use data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to
delivering your OTP.
We do not store your password, browsing history, or page content.
Storage & retention
The session token and your settings are stored locally
(chrome.storage.local) and cleared when you sign out.
OTP routing and access are logged on the firm’s backend for security auditing
(which employee received which code, and when). Retention follows the firm’s
internal policy.
Security
All communication uses HTTPS. Access is scoped per firm and branch; an employee can
only receive codes for their own firm.
Your control
Sign out at any time from the extension to clear local data. To stop all processing,
remove the extension.
